Hattiesburg, Miss., March 20, 2007 " The Hattiesburg branch of Noland Company, a leading plumbing, heating and air conditioning (HVAC) distributor, has won the company's annual award for outstanding performance. Branch Manager Doyle Ward received the award, named the Casey Cup after company founder L.U. "Casey" Noland, from Chief Operating Officer Jean Preston at a dinner March 16 in Hattiesburg for 20 employees and spouses.
Noland is a wholly-owned subsidiary of WinWholesale Inc. and has 109 branches in 13 states, mainly in the Southeast.
"It's a real honor to receive the Casey Cup. This is a big pat on the back for all of our employees who work hard each day to make the branch the best it can be partnering with customers to help them get their jobs done," Ward said.
The Hattiesburg branch, located at 116 Lundy Lane, won the award based on several 2006 financial measures that include return on trading assets, sales, gross profit margin and other benchmarks.
The Hattiesburg main branch has satellite branches in Gulfport and Laurel. The Laurel location opened March 1.
