Florida's west coast now served by Gulf Coast Winnelson
PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla., Feb. 1, 2008 - WinWholesale, one of the nation's largest distributors, today announced the opening of Gulf Coast Winnelson Company in Port Charlotte to provide plumbing contractors in a five-county area with a complete line of plumbing equipment, parts and accessories.
The counties served are Charlotte, Collier, Lee, Manatee and Sarasota, which covers the area from Bradenton south to Marco Island.
The local company at 1615 Market Circle near the Port Charlotte Town Center provides counter sales and delivery service. Gulf Coast Winnelson carries American Standard and Mansfield bath products, A.O. Smith water heaters, Moen and Delta fixtures, and Elkay kitchen and bath products.
"As a local company geared to serve area contractors, our goal is to have an available inventory and individualized service to meet our customers' needs," said Philip Ross, Gulf Coast Winnelson president and a 21-year plumbing wholesale industry veteran.
