HOLLISTON, Mass., June 2, 2008 - WinWholesale, one of the nation's largest distributors today announced the opening of Framingham Winsupply Company to focus on the growing renewable energy market by providing contractors with photovoltaic, solar thermal, geothermal and wind turbine products for residential and commercial use.
Framingham Winsupply, located at 16 Everett St. in Holliston, serves Boston, the Greater MetroWest area, Cape Cod and the islands. It is the first renewable energy company in the Win Group of Companies.
In addition to products, parts and accessories, Framingham Winsupply provides consultation services and training in partnership with Greenfield Community College at the company's Holliston training center. Participants learn the benefits of renewable energy systems and how to sell, install and service the products to increase their current business. Those businesses are typically electrical, plumbing, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning contractors.
"Renewable energy resources are proven technologies to provide electricity and domestic hot water, as well as heating and air conditioning for homes and businesses," said Kevin Price, Framingham Winsupply president and a 28 year wholesaling industry veteran. "Our products and services are especially attractive when compared to today's rising fossil fuel energy choices. We offer proven energy solutions that are good for the environment, good for the economy, and good for your wallet."
The company, which has local ownership, features a Renewable Energy Showroom, as well as expert sales and delivery service. Among the brands the company carries are Massachusetts-based Evergreen solar panels, and Solectria inverters.
Operating hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. p.m. Monday through Friday, with the showroom open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon.
