|As vice president, Vendor Relations, for Winsupply Inc. headquartered in Dayton, Ohio, Eddie Gibbs is responsible for corporate negotiations with vendors, managing corporate VIP programs and developing supply sources for the company’s industry product lines.
Winsupply owns a majority equity stake in 580 local companies across the United States. Collectively, Winsupply is known as The Winsupply Family of Companies and includes Win-branded locations, Noland Company, Carr Supply, Security Plumbing & Heating, and Wyatt Irrigation. The companies conduct business-to-business wholesale distribution of supplies and materials in plumbing and heating; hydronics; pipe, valves and fittings; HVAC and refrigeration; electrical; fastening hardware; waterworks and utility; pumps; turf irrigation and landscape; and fire system fabrication.
Gibbs joined Noland Company in 2003 as vice president of Sourcing at the headquarters in Newport News, Virginia. After Winsupply acquired Noland in 2005 he assumed his current position.
In 1971 Gibbs began his career in the industry with Hughes Supply. He held management positions with Hughes, including plumbing division sales manager, corporate director of purchasing, and regional manager for plumbing, heating and air conditioning, and pipes, valves and fittings.
Gibbs attended Indian River Community College in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
