Chief Technology Officer
Jeff Dana is chief technology officer for Winsupply Inc. headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. In this position Dana is responsible for enhancing the information technology systems and tools that support and allow the Winsupply Family of Companies to function and serve customers nationwide on a daily basis.
Winsupply owns a majority equity stake in 580 local companies across the United States. Collectively, Winsupply is known as The Winsupply Family of Companies and includes Win-branded locations, Noland Company, Carr Supply, Security Plumbing & Heating, and Wyatt Irrigation. The companies conduct business-to-business wholesale distribution of supplies and materials in plumbing and heating; hydronics; pipe, valves and fittings; HVAC and refrigeration; electrical; fastening hardware; waterworks and utility; pumps; turf irrigation and landscape; and fire system fabrication.
Dana joined Winsupply in 1986 as a programmer/analyst. In 1992 he became chief information officer. Dana grew the IT function, which built and supported tools to sustain the company’s growth, and gave Winsupply the ability to use information technology as a competitive advantage. He assumed his current position in 2007.
A graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Dana received a Bachelor of Science degree in systems analysis.
