Ward Allen

Vice President, Finance

 

Ward Allen is vice president, Finance, for Winsupply Inc. headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. As vice president, Finance, Allen has numerous responsibilities, including acquisition evaluation and negotiation, balance sheet and capital management, credit activities, banking relationship management and fleet management. In addition, Allen is president of Noland Properties, overseeing real estate acquisition and disposition.

Collectively, Winsupply is known as The Winsupply Family of Companies and includes Win-branded locations, Noland Company, Carr Supply, Security Plumbing & Heating, and Wyatt Irrigation. The companies conduct business-to-business wholesale distribution of supplies and materials in plumbing and heating; hydronics; pipe, valves and fittings; HVAC and refrigeration; electrical; fastening hardware; waterworks and utility; pumps; turf irrigation and landscape; and fire system fabrication.

Allen joined Winsupply in November 1999 in his current position. Prior to that, he was with Fifth Third Bank of Western Ohio for 19 years. In his last position with Fifth Third he was senior vice president, Commercial Lending.

Allen is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he earned Bachelor of Science degrees in finance and in economics.

He is a former chairman of the board of Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Ohio.

 

Eddie Gibbs

  As vice president, Vendor Relations, for Winsupply Inc. headquartered in Dayton, Ohio, Eddie Gibbs is responsible for corporate negotiations with vendors, managing corporate VIP programs and developing supply sources for the company’s industry product lines.

Winsupply owns a majority equity stake in 580 local companies across the United States. Collectively, Winsupply is known as The Winsupply Family of Companies and includes Win-branded locations, Noland Company, Carr Supply, Security Plumbing & Heating, and Wyatt Irrigation. The companies conduct business-to-business wholesale distribution of supplies and materials in plumbing and heating; hydronics; pipe, valves and fittings; HVAC and refrigeration; electrical; fastening hardware; waterworks and utility; pumps; turf irrigation and landscape; and fire system fabrication.

Gibbs joined Noland Company in 2003 as vice president of Sourcing at the headquarters in Newport News, Virginia. After Winsupply acquired Noland in 2005 he assumed his current position.

In 1971 Gibbs began his career in the industry with Hughes Supply. He held management positions with Hughes, including plumbing division sales manager, corporate director of purchasing, and regional manager for plumbing, heating and air conditioning, and pipes, valves and fittings.

Gibbs attended Indian River Community College in Ft. Pierce, Florida.

Roland Gordon

Chief Executive Officer and President

 

Roland Gordon is chief executive officer and president of Winsupply Inc. and the Winsupply Family of Companies. As CEO he leads business strategy development and execution. As president he oversees the daily operations of the Winsupply organization. He is a member of the Winsupply board of directors and plays a key role in the direction and growth of the company. Gordon is also on the board of Noland Company, a Winsupply wholly owned subsidiary with 60 locations mainly in the Southeast.

Gordon joined Winsupply in 1999 as a manager with Winsupply Group Services in Reno, Nev. The Reno office provided complete business services for Win local companies in its geographic area. From Reno, Gordon took a position as the risk manager with Winsupply Group Services in Dayton, Ohio.

Following Winsupply’s acquisition of Noland Company in 2005, Gordon was appointed its chief financial officer and liaison to the subsidiary. He was appointed CFO of Winsupply in August 2011. He was named president of Winsupply in January 2016 and chief executive officer in January 2017.

Before joining Winsupply, Gordon was employed by the New York Life Insurance Company in Reno and provided case consultant services on the Field Technology Information System, the system used by all company agents.

Gordon received a bachelor's degree in business administration with an accounting major from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas, a master's certificate as an emerging leader from the University of Dayton, and a master’s degree in industrial distribution from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. He holds a number of professional certifications and designations, including certified public accountant, certified management accountant, certified internal auditor and certified fraud examiner.

 

 

Bob Guiney

Capital Management

  Bob Guiney is vice president, Capital Management, for Winsupply Inc. and the Winsupply Family of Companies headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. In this position, he is responsible for ownership and shareholder management issues, including stock share valuation of Winsupply, a privately-owned company. In addition, Guiney oversees local company and parent company capital management, manages the company’s marketable securities portfolio, as well as the strategic planning process.

Winsupply owns a majority equity stake in 580 local companies across the United States. Collectively, Winsupply is known as The Winsupply Family of Companies and includes Win-branded locations, Noland Company, Carr Supply, Security Plumbing & Heating, and Wyatt Irrigation. The companies conduct business-to-business wholesale distribution of supplies and materials in plumbing and heating; hydronics; pipe, valves and fittings; HVAC and refrigeration; electrical; fastening hardware; waterworks and utility; pumps; turf irrigation and landscape; and fire system fabrication.

Guiney joined Valuation Co., a subsidiary company that performed the functions now under Capital Management in June 1984. He led Valuation Co. from November 1984 until it merged with Winsupply in 2005, when it became Capital Management and he was appointed vice president. He was a key participant in this merger and the planning and execution of 11 other subsidiary mergers into Winsupply in 2005.

Also in 2005, Guiney was deeply involved in the successful negotiations to acquire Noland Company in Newport News, Virginia. The acquisition greatly strengthened Winsupply’s market position in the Southeast.
